11/2: COIN with joan at Cannery Ballroom

Sometimes you have to leave your hometown to really find yourself. That’s what the guys of COIN, born out of Belmont, did as they set out to record their second album, How Will You Know If You Never Try. After a songwriting stint in Los Angeles and last year’s infectious “Talk Too Much,” the band is back in Nashville to debut their sophomore release at Cannery Ballroom this Thursday night. Synth-pop duo joan joins the fun as the band’s nostalgia-tinged opener. Revisit our 2014 feature on COIN here, and find tickets here.
