With Spring among us, naturally we’re all worshiping Mother Nature in all her glory—but what about the other powerful ladies out there? March is Women’s History Month, and Tatiana Johnson of EyePissGlitter is hosting an event to help us rightfully recognize all women. This Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Main Street Gallery, help them celebrate with the film screening of Be Dangerous…It’s Careful Out There and art exhibition. Guidance Whiskey and Slim and Husky’s will provide an open bar fully stocked with cocktails and pizza, and DJ Crop Top Tot will be supplying the beats. Men and women alike, come out and honor all of the noteworthy women in your life!

When I create, I often think of what Johannes Itten said, “He who wishes to become a master of color must see, feel, and experience each individual color in its endless combinations with all other colors.”. I’m also inspired frequently by love and loneliness and want folks consuming my work to be encouraged to start paying attention to the little details in everyday life, appreciate the simple things, and let them eventually inspire you! Ultimately, I’m just trying to become a mother fuckin master of color.
