4/6: Aida Victoria at Soft Junk

Past-feature Aida Victoria is going to be at Soft Junk on Friday for Abraham Smith’s Destrcution of Man book release party. The event will feature poetry from Victoria, Nathan Spoon, and Smith himself. Destruction of Man is Smith’s new book from Third Man Books. Little Bandit will be providing music for the event.

Tyehimba Jess, the winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, says Smith’s new book “is a compass setting toward musics caught between the hungry teeth of vole and buried bone of river.” So, we think that’s a good thing. Make sure to check it out for yourself Friday night. The event runs from 8:30 to Midnight.
