6/29-30: Musicians Corner Season Closer with Liza Anne

If you haven’t heard (which means you’ve never read this newsletter—shame on you), Musicians Corner Nashville is a free concert series in Centennial Park that brings your favorite local, family-friendly musicians to you for free. Inspired by London’s Speaker’s Corner, The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park showcase up-and-coming artists alongside more recognizable names for an evening that everyone will enjoy. This year, top performers have already included Nikki Lane and Natalie Prass, and there’s an anticipated performances by Joseph and Liza Anne.

Liza Anne adorned the cover of Native in October 2015 and has since been featured in our You Oughta Know section. Liza’s newest effort, Fine But Dying, is an external manifestation of her inner turmoil riddled with spellbinding lyrics of delusion and madness alongside hypnotic guitar riffs. The whole record sounds like the irresistible result of dark magic.

As June comes to a close, so will this season of Musicians Corner. This Friday and Saturday, June 29 and 30, catch Nashville favorites as they wrap up the budget-friendly, live music showcase. Performers include, but are not limited to: Keeps, Josh Gilligan, and Joseph. In addition to those Anne will of course play Saturday at 3:15 p.m.
