Artist Spotlight: Alic Daniel

I make nonobjective lines in a little house on Electric Avenue. I was born in Ohio, but I don’t like that place and always avoid going back. All I want is warm weather; ironically I’m in Nashville. I do not take offense when I am compared to Keith Haring. I call my current work scribbles, so don’t be afraid to call them that. I appreciate Nashville’s acceptance of my work. Your booze and debauchery can make for some interesting artwork. —Alic
