The Womb Grand Opening

Following the tragic fire at Oakland DIY venue Ghost Ship last year, the state of Nashville DIY venues—and DIY venues around the country—has been unclear to say the least. Luckily, the folks behind The Womb are looking to keep Nashville’s underground tradition alive with a new feminist DIY venue. The spot will kick things off May 5 with a house show featuring music, art, and poetry. It’s free, but donations for homeless women—including anything from tampons to pads to cash—are encouraged. Peep the full lineup here.
