WeWork Grand Opening Party Recap

WeWork knows how to party. At their Nashville grand opening last Thursday, there were tunes by the New Respects, Sinclair, and Bantug; drinks from Tennesseee Brew Works, Little Harpeth, current feature Proper Sake, and gift guide participant WithCo; and food from past recipe contributor The Fox, past feature Basement East, Fluff Nashville, and Edley’s. We had proof we were there thanks to Hip Hues’ screen printing and Hi-Fi Media Co’s GIF booth. If you missed the party, you should check out the WeWork spaces as soon as possible.

As a surprise, a bus wrapped in local art pulled up mid-party. That kind of art sneak attack is the essence of Arts in Motion, an initiative dedicated to showing work from local creatives in new and pleasantly surprising ways throughout our communities.

This month’s featured artist is New Hat Projects, an art and design studio located in Nashville that specializes in bold contemporary designs. The studio works with commercial and residential clients to create immersive environments. Their custom designs for Nashville MTA can be seen at select bus shelters in downtown Nashville, on an exclusively wrapped bus you’ll see around town, and on NATIVE‘s back cover. NATIVE is excited to be a partner on this, and we can’t wait for you to see what’s next.
