Salute Your Shorts Night is a quarterly event at Smith & Lentz in East Nashville designed to showcase Nashville’s independently-made short films, music videos, experimental films, and more. The latest installment is happening this Sunday, and they’ll be showing a number of shorts, including “The Waiting Room” by the Dunlap Brothers. The winner of Nashville’s 48 Hour Film Project, “The Waiting Room” unveils the journey of a man who wakes up disoriented in the waiting room of a doctor’s office with no recollection as to how he got there. Admission for the event is free, but come with questions for an informal Q & A throughout the night with some of the creators. So grab a Smith & Lentz pint, sit back, and enjoy the show(s).
