For seven years now (can you believe it’s been that long??), maker space Fort Houston has celebrated its birthday with a party that’s become something of a Nashville staple. What essentially started as a kegger with a few heavy-hitting garage rock acts is now a full-on festival (hence the name), and we couldn’t be more excited. Happening all weekend all across Nashville, Fort Fest will include: art from our friends at Soft Junk and Tournament; music from revered locals like Meth Dad, FUTUREBIRDS, Daddy Issues, and Faux Ferocious; an art exhibit from Wayne freaking Cohen of The Flaming Lips, and a DJ set from Sparkle City Disco.
