8/18: POM POMs Volume 1 Release Show

Local photographer Marcus Maddox  will release POM POMS, a photo book meant to showcase and “romanticize” Nashville’s DIY music and art scene, this Friday. For the project, the East Nashville native spent six months documenting the city’s ever-changing DIY scene. With it’s grainy, dreamlike images of historic Nashville shows, POM POMS captures the off-kilter beauty the DIY scene brings to basements, garages, and living rooms around Nashville.

Maddox will release POM POMS Volume 1 this Friday. Come celebrate the book’s release with performances by Dream Wave, Rocky Block, Western Medication, and DJ Maniia. You won’t want to miss this one. For more information about the event, click here.
