Parking in Nashville is kind of like chocolate: there’s never enough of it. However, with each new parking lot, we lose open spaces within the city. It’s one of about a million conundrums the city faces.
Global event PARK(ing) Day aims to call attention to these ever-diminishing open spaces. Once a year, citizens, artists, and businesses around the world transform parking spots into temporary public spaces in honor of the event. You can turn spots into a tiki-themed getaway, an interactive art space, really anything. Find out more info and how to participate here.
