THE GOODS:
2 oz Hamilton Black Rum
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz Blackberry Ginger Honey*
1/4 oz simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
DIRECTIONS:
Add ingredients to a shaker tin and shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a slice of lime and a mint leaf.
*Blackberry Ginger Honey:
Add 5 ripened blackberries and 2 tablespoons julienned ginger to a scant quart of honey syrup (2 parts honey, 1 part water). Allow to steep for 2–3 days, then strain.
