The first Saturday of February is coming up, and you know what that means: Art Crawl! Join the twenty-plus venues, galleries, and studios that will display the work of local artists throughout the city. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m., and it’s entirely free.
5th Avenue of the Arts is a good place to start—you can check out the best of local photography, painting, and sculpture at the likes of The Art Company and The Rymer Gallery. In Wedgewood-Houston you’ll find a the relatively new event called Arts & Music at Wedgewood-Houston. If you make it out that way, we suggest you check out States of Matter at the Zeitgeist.
