ELEL, the brainchild of local electro-pop ace Ben Elkins, will be at Mercy Lounge June 1 with jam-friendly Bostonians Ripe. This is the final show in a string of dates the pair has played together, so expect Elkins and co. to pull out all the stops for homecoming gig.
Since the ELEL appeared on our cover in 2015, they’ve made a cameo in Michael Keegan-Key’s Don’t Look Back (as the musical guest on a faux-SNL called Weekend Live), released a string of impressive videos, and played SXSW and Pilgrimage.
